MAKE IT HAPPEN – VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR DISABLED LEARNERS

On the 30th and 31st of May, EUROYOUTH organized the final meeting of the MAKE IT HAPPEN project in Lisbon.
MAKE IT HAPPEN is a project aiming to improve the inclusion of students with disabilities in mobility programs across Europe.
During the two days, EUROYOUTH presented to the partners involved in the project, the PORTUGUESE STATE OF ART, Portuguese legislation, access to education, employment and professional training and discussed the various opportunities available for disabled people.
We were also delighted to visit two organizations that work with inclusion and training aimed at the various types of disabilities.
One of our parteners is The VOARTE association that has as main goal the promotion of contemporary creation, through the intersection of artistic languages and the development of national and international projects.
An innovative project that promotes dialogue and cultural decentralization, with a view to strengthening relationships between communities and training new audiences. Since 2007,  they produced the CiM – Dance Company that integrates performers with and without disabilities.
