The project was supported by Grundtvig – Lifelong Learning Programme.

Its central aims were to: promote gender equality in the roles played by man and women in public and private life, emphasizing the importance of autonomy, promoting social integration and self-esteem by strengthening the capabilities and potentialities of each and everyone.

The activities carried out aimed to facilitate exchanges between staff and adult learners, the sharing of experiences and good practices, the joint field work and reflection and the dissemination of the experiences and results of the project.

• Survey about: ” Women and Man – realities in Europe today”
• Compilation of books and movies made by women or about gender issues
• Compilation of short biographies about remarkable women in the history of the partner countries
• Comparison and discussion of legislative realities
•  Implementation of workshops and its publication: “We are equal! Guide of good practices on gender equality”
• Decalogue: recommendations for gender equality.
