Team EUROYOUTH

At EUROYOUTH, we have a highly qualified team for preparing and managing European projects that works comfortably in domestic and international contexts to meet our commitments to clients and partners at the highest standards. We keep the team constantly up-to-date with training, seminars and conferences linked to vocational education and training, ECVET certification and Erasmus+.

The team is spread over 4 departments – Incoming, Accommodation, European Projects and Coordination. Its members have extensive experience with education and training projects and have the expertise needed to implement, develop and drive a whole variety of international projects while meeting the standards demanded by the European Commission.

The team members’ professional backgrounds and knowledge complement each other to ensure we can provide the greatest coverage and skill possible for education and vocational training. Every member of the team has higher education and is fluent in English (among other languages). At EUROYOUTH, we always work in cooperation, as a team, and have a horizontal organisational structure.

Incoming

Marta Fernandes

Head of the Incoming Department

Marta has a bachelor’s degree in Social Policy, with further training in Social Security and Protection from the ISCSP in Lisbon and a Vocational Aptitude Certificate. She has worked as a trainee employment officer at the Portuguese Employment and Vocational Training Institute and as a ground handling assistant.

At EUROYOUTH, since 2008, in addition to coordinating Mobility Programs, she ensures training paths and professional guidance to participants in international mobility, who carry out internships, visits and/or courses in Lisbon. She also takes over all communication and negotiation of European Programmes with international partners. She speaks Portuguese, French, English, and Spanish

Petronela Cret

Incoming Programme Organisation and Head of Accommodation

Petronela has a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Faculty of Economics at Aurel Vlaicu University, Arad, Romania. She was part of the students’ association, where she guided and participated in the organization of student events. In 2007, she moved to Portugal. She has worked in integrated communications, as a client manager and executive assistant, as well as an administrative assistant in a technical expertise office. She went through several sectors such as cash & carry, tourism and customer service.

At EUROYOUTH, since 2021, in addition to coordinating Mobility Programs, she ensures training courses and professional guidance to participants in international mobility, who carry out internships, visits and / or courses in Lisbon. She is responsible for managing the accommodation. She speaks Romanian as her mother tongue, Portuguese, English and Spanish and has basic knowledge of Italian.

Teresa Antunes

Incoming Programme Organisation

Teresa has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies. She started her career in business management, however it was in the sport and health sectors that she managed and trained teams, did customer service, marketing activities and opened international business units.

At EUROYOUTH since 2019, in addition to coordinating Mobility Programs, she ensures training courses and professional guidance to participants in international mobility, who carry out internships, visits and / or courses in Lisbon. Teresa speaks English and Portuguese, as well as some Spanish.

Ângela Freitas

Incoming Programme Organisation

Ângela has a bachelor’s degree in Education and Training from the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon and is postgraduate in Education and Training with a specialization in Social and Cultural Development from the same University.

She did her end-of-course internship at a leisure time center of an association. She worked as a Senior Education Technician being responsible for promoting pedagogical activities and supporting children, as well as being an educational assistant in a home for children in vulnerable situations where she provided support in the areas of daily life, education, and health.

At EUROYOUTH since 2023, in addition to coordinating Mobility Programs, she ensures training courses and professional guidance to participants in international mobility, who carry out internships, visits and / or courses in Lisbon. Angela speaks English, Spanish and portuguese.

European Projects and Coordination

Inês Barge

Head of Coordination & European Projects Department

Inês has a bachelor’s degree in Languages and International Relations from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of University of Porto and a master’s degree in development and International Cooperation at ISEG – University of Lisbon. During her studies, she has taken part in two Erasmus mobility projects: at Matej Bel University, Slovakia (studies) and at the Technical University of Riga, Latvia (internship).  She has several professional experiences related to services and customer services and has provided educational support as a volunteer.

At EUROYOUTH, since 2018, she participates in the Coordination of Mobility Projects, guaranteeing all the support for the correct financial execution and project activities, as well as the quality and results of the mobilities. She also assumes all communication and negotiation with national and international partners of the Erasmus+ programs. Speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Luís Vasconcelos

Programme coordinator

Luís has a degree and postgraduate qualification in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts of University of Porto and a postgraduate qualification in Collaborative Local Development from the Portuguese Catholic University.

He worked as a Senior Technician in Sociology at Marco de Canaveses City Council, where he began his career, and later worked in the social and education sectors, with experience in team coordination, training, recruitment and project management, among others.

At EUROYOUTH since June 2024, he has been involved in the coordination of mobility projects, guaranteeing all the support for the correct financial and activity execution of the projects, as well as the quality and results of the participants’ mobilities.

Administrative support

Rosa Oliveira

She has a degree with an integrated master’s degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon, which she has yet to complete.

She has extensive professional experience as an administrative manager, where she has worked in the last years, having acquired these skills in the field of dental medicine. Her previous experience ranges from invoicing management, general office management, human resources, client management, scheduling, reception, accounting, supplier management and other administrative duties. All this experience, together with other certifications, has also given her various tools for managing and solving problems, time management and working methods.

At EUROYOUTH since September 2024, she provides administrative support to all departments: incoming, coordination, accommodation and projects, and is also responsible for all office management.
