03 Mar The implementation of the European project “Sustainability in Vocational Training” goes on at a local level with EUROYOUTH
On last 3rd February, the German, French, Maltese, Portuguese and Irish partners of the
Sustainability in Vocational Training project were all gathered in Valletta for the 4th
transnational meeting.
During this meeting, the partners finalised the last training modules
and discussed about experiences on the implementation of the modules by the trainees.
This in order to prepare the second phase of implementation of the modules.
The meeting has also been an opportunity for the partners to prepare the last meeting of the project which
will be held in Bordeaux on July 9th 2020.
As a reminder, the Sustainability in Vocational Training project consists in setting up 5
training modules focused on sustainable development in companies. Put into practice by
German students, these modules take place before and during their placements in the
different partner countries. They are applicable to all sectors of activity.
Thus, the students are entrusted with the realization of an overview of the current and future
sustainable development strategies of the hosting companies while doing their internship.
Furthermore, the aim is to raise awareness of sustainability in companies by including them
in the project stages and having them committed on the monitoring of their trainees.
