MOB G.A.E.: MOBility as a source of Growth, Autonomy and Employability

1 Jan, 2014  - 31 Dec, 2016

SUMMARY

MOB G.A.E was one of the 8 projects approved in the Key Action 4 of the Programme Leonardo da Vinci in 2013. It brought together 18 partners from 15 countries, and also 30 associated partners.

The project goal was to evaluate the impact of the international mobility experiences (Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus for Entrepreneurs, EVS, among other European and international projects) through a longitudinal research involving a wide number of persons that participated in these programmes between 2012 and 2013, focusing on the impacts that mobility had or not on the development of their careers and on their perception as European citizens.

After being analyzed, the results were disseminated and explored with the publication of: a research report (full version in English and Summaries in all 13 partner languages), testimonies and success histories, good practices, positive working methods between partners involved in these kind of activities. Some activities to be highlighted are:

  •  The 357 testimonies collected, of which 8 are in video format, and posted on the project Blog;
  • Research of the impacts and publication of the research report, with a total of 2.289 surveys, 243 individual interviews and 25 focus groups;
  • Flash Mobs in all partner countries to raise awareness to general population. In Portugal it happened on the eve of Europe day, the 8thof May, at Graça – Lisboa;
  • Public presentation of the research report and its distribution in pen drive. In Portugal it was presented in Lisbon and Porto, in June 2018;
  • Creation of pre-departure preparation module, with the aim of enhancing quality and learning process during the mobility;
    Test of the training module under the Project XPTO coordinated by EUROYOUTH (September 2015).
